MEANING OF NAHUAL (ENERGY):

To the Maya, this represents the alligator the dragon, the primordial creatures who ancient roots go to the very beginning of this world. Imox is the first day of the Tzolkin calendar for the Yucatec people. Imox is the essence of unity in all things. It is the beginning of a cycle, the fountain of life in its most pure and simple manifestation. Imox represents is unusual and eccentric. It is important on this day to search for a positive equilibrium and mental clarity in order to avoid madness.

This sign calls you to go to your primordial depths, in search of the abundant source of life itself, what you need and long for.

Be receptive and confident. The entire existence is full of love.

Give and then receive is the message. Have primordial trust, choosing moment by moment what to do, without guarantees, not trying to control the results or people in your life. Have confidence in the transformation processes that are working in your life and evolution.

Trusting, however, does not mean acting blindly without awareness or waiting without action, it means moving forward with and learning from your journey of experience.

We find hidden feelings of unworthiness to receive, often manifested as embarrassment or discomfort when others offer you deep connection. These feelings can steam from many places often they steam from early childhood when your gifts may not have been received or when you heard "it's better to give than to receive".

Or perhaps you develop reality based on praise for being self-sufficient and not owning anyone anything, you might not feel supported or your life may seem to be full of effort and struggle rather than like a grand adventure.

Issues of survival bring forth this aspect which devours life taking nourishment in the cycle of creation of life itself, also to overly identify with being a source of support of others (giving without receiving is limiting / receiving without giving is limiting).

In western society we are unknowingly taught to be dependent and codependent, perhaps from an inability or unwillingness to nurture and support yourself, you have abandoned yourself for another?

Perhaps you expect that other to know intuitively what you needs are and to meet them without direct communication.

An example of the shadow of this energy might say: "if they really love me they would understand how I feel" or "if I have to ask for it it's not worth it".

In another words you might be avoiding responsibility thinking that relationships just happened and love is a need rather than a natural state of being .
